Subject: DPP Poll Finds People Unsatisfied with Premier Wu
http://www.icrt.com.tw/en/twnews.php#185
A new poll conducted by the DPP finds that just over half of the Taiwan
population is not satisfied with the job that Premier Wu Dun-yi is doing.
According to the survey, conducted a year after Wu came to office, 52 percent
of respondents say he's been doing a sub-par job.
Major areas of concern are his handling of the unemployment problem here, the
widening wealth gap, and public safety and security.
Wu's handling of specific issues, such as the recent chemical plant fires and
the controversy surrounding the central Taiwan science park expansion, have
also left voters wanting.
